Can I use Youtube links to generate my podcasts?

    Unfortunately no. YouTube links are links to web pages with the player embedded. or they are links to the embed themselves. iTunes and all other podcasting applications need a link to the media file, e.g. example.com/path/to/file.mp4.

    The smart video podcasters will create and distribute their podcast via mp4, and also submit their podcast episodes to YouTube. Just being on iTunes or just being on YouTube narrows your audience.
