   I have been asked to build a website with a blog and a forum. What do you suggest?

   Unless you need a "heavy" forum, I usually combine WordPress and bbPress. The two integrate perfectly, and it is really easy to use the same design for both.

   P.S. bbPress is what these support forums run on.

   Also, just search here for "forum integration" and you'll find a ton of similar discussions and options.
