   I am starting a site with all content related to WordPress tutorials, etc. I was wondering if my domain name cannot have "wordpress" in it such as "codingforwordpress.com", etc.
   (Note: That is not the title in question.)

   I have seen a few sites that use "wordpress" somewhere in the url, I just wanted to be certain I would not be infringing in any way toward the WordPress name.

   Hi,

   You cannot use the word "WordPress" in the domain name as it's trademarked by Automattic. Instead, you can use "wp".

   I had a feeling that was the case, I just couldn't find the documentation. Thank you very much for this info.
