Can I transfer a customized theme to another blog? (2 posts)

I'm pretty near finished customizing the Atahualpa theme using a test site. I've changed scads of settings - only now I learn that transferring the customized theme to the existing blog is not simply a matter of copying the customized Atahualpa folder over to the Themes folder of my existing blog.

I understand this requires that I export the Atahualpa settings from the PHP database - only I have no idea how to do this. My host is GoDaddy, and I don't see an WordPress/PhP editing/exporting section in their hosting control manager.

So I'm wondering if this is possible or if I'll have to reproduced all the tweaks in the existing site. There are many, and I'd prefer to have the old site get the new "look" instantaneously.

it's in your sql database, not php database I believe.

I'm on godaddy too...you have to do into your database menu.

open that up, find your wordpress DB, it will give you the option to manage via phpMyAdmin which is exactly what you want.

Its a bit daunting when you get in there, but you have to export the proper data from your mySQL then import it into the new blogs database....

Unfortunately, I don't use that theme, and have no idea where it stores its info? wp_options maybe?
