Can I start with 6th most recent post on front page.

    I have a slider on the top of my blog homepage that shows the 5 most recent posts and I would like to start the posts below it from the 6th most recent to eliminate redundancy. Is there a way to do this somehow? my blog is http://www.minnesporta.com thanks
