Can i start multi site at anytime?

    I have 8 domains, i have simply copied all the files from my main install into the other directories/domains.

    my intention was to have exactly the same looking website on all 8 domains but change the the titles and seo so that they are geographically relevant.

    can i start multisite and add these to the network and then edit them seperatley or will the main site dictate what shows on the others?
