   Can I delete everything I have done and start again?
   I want to delete the pages, categories and posts and start afresh. Can I do this in one step or do I have to manually delete everything..?

   sure you can! if you have a FTP client software or you can log into your hosting service and find your file manager and delete everything this way, however word of caution is to be careful not to remove files or folders that are not associated with wordpress, like your cgi-bin for example.

   @lonniea: That will not delete the site's content! And it's totally unnecessary.

   @elockhart: You either need to empty your WordPress database. Or set up a new database, rename your existing wp-config.php file to wp-config.php.old and run the WordPress install again.
