   Can I send only manual emails. I don't have a blog, just an informational website. When I update something like a press release, I'd like to let subscribers know. I don't want to send an automatic email every time I change something on my website because we're still working on it. Thanks.

   @FranniePTG,

   You could use Subscribe2 this way by excluding all categories in the Settings page and making sure that Registered users cannot over ride the exclusion.

   However, I think you may be able to find a better solution by searching for a newsletter plugin.
