    Something has happened to my host. Today I checked our website to find an apache setup page. I emailed our support and have not received any response.

    I logged into my control panel and I found that all of the files in the root directory are GONE! But all folders and files that are in those folders are intact. I can reach my store which is in a sub directory, all of my wordpress folders are there "wp-admin wp-content and wp-includes. It appears my sql database is gone. I don't have a current backup :(

    Should I download the contents of these folders and do a fresh install and then replace the contents of the folders?

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    You should be able to login into your host cpanel check to make sure your data base is still in tact. Use phpmyadmin look at the tables within the database and see if still contain items. Then go to your wp-admin tools - I would first use export to save all content and settings from here to your computer just in case, then i would click upgrade, and click reinstall, should place all bootstrap files back into public_html without doing anything to your content.
    If it upgrades and you lose your content which is highly unlikely use tools import to bring back that backup file you saved ;)

    Thanks for your reply.
    When I try to login to /wp-admin i get this error

    Warning: require_once(../wp-load.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/ejwoutdoors.com/httpdocs/wp-admin/admin.php on line 20

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../wp-load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/local/smarty/libs/') in /var/www/vhosts/ejwoutdoors.com/httpdocs/wp-admin/admin.php on line 20

    This is bad i presume :(
