Can I put one link on homepage but not all pages? (9 posts)

I'd like to link out on one of my blog's homepages to a site but I don't want to have that link show on every page of my blog because I don't want Google to see I'm sending the site 200 links.

    Could look like spam.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

So why not just add the link to one Page?

Because it would be a better link coming from the homepage, that's all really. The home page has a PR3 and the other pages N/A or 0.

Are you talking about adding the link in the navigation bar, or are you talking about adding the link anywhere on the page?

Are you using a static home page or a page of posts?

@MattyRasker - Not the navigational bar, just somewhere on the homepage, like in the footer, but without being distributed over all posts and pages.

@esmi - The homepage is the most recent 10 or so blog posts.

    Thanks for the help everyone.

I'm just trying to link to my brother's Landscape website from my blog to help give it a push - FYI

You would need to add the link directly to your theme's index.php template file.

Awesome. I'll give that a try. Thanks
