   He everybody...i run a news site at http://geoffmyers.net/abc24news/ I would like to make specific posts to only where i want them...for example i want to make sports posts but have them appear on the sports page. how do i do this...decide where posts go

   well.. for a quick fix, you could make all the posts on the main page stay static using adhesive or a similar plugin so they would only show on the main page but then your post would show on the sports

   Wrong way of thinking :)
   You do NOT post into another page or something like that! What you do - you exclude certain categories to be displayed on your main page. In this scenario the excluded category's posts will appear only on their category archives page.

   Ahh K gotcha. I had done that before with adhesive and it worked fine for me... so I just thought I would mention it.

   ok i downloaded this plugin,i got the category not to show on home but how do i get it so it shows on another page?
