   Hello;

   The maximum size video I can upload via the media file upload is 8meg, I asked and this appears to be the highest my web host will allow, despite gigs of storage available on my account. I am trying to upload larger video files for automatic playback via a plugin.

   If I upload the files via ftp, is there a way to manually link these into the word press system or is that not possiable because they will be outside of the database structure?

   I found a free flash video player plug in that was able to access files that were manually uploaded without any problems. Thank you
