CarmellitaI am currently using wordpress 3.0.1. I want to keep wordpress operating at http://mydomain.com. However, I also want to create a "paid membership area as a wordpress membership site at http://subdomain.mydomain.com. I wan to integrate wordpress mu with the membership area as well as buddypress and bbpress.
Here's what I am attempting to do in more detail...
I want to keep a regular wordpress blog operating at my domain: http://mydomain.com. This blog will always be free...kind of operating as a free magazine online.
However, I want to establish a virtual class as a wordpress membership site where students pay for a subscription to get this content at http://subdomain.mydomain.
Now, I want to integrate my paid wordpress membership site with wordpress mu, buddypress, and bbpress so that the studenets from my membership site can have their own blog, participate in forums, and make friends with other students who are members as well.
I am a lover of wordpress and I feel much more comfortable with this platform than I do with ning and others because the wordpress platform is always upgrading and adding new plugins. So I hope this can be done. Here are some other facts that may help me get the answers I need to my questions....
I will be using memberwing for my wordpress membership area because memberwing offers a drip-feed where I can dispurse content in a timely fashion to students/members.
I would like (if it is possible) for the wordpress mu, buddypress, and bbpress area to be at http://subddomain.mydomain/community. If this is possible.
