Can I install MU on sub directory of a subdomain hosted root wordpress site

    I have my wordpress at subdomain.mydomain.com . If I activate WordPress MU in it and set the blog networks to use the subdirectories , Will it be feasible ?

    That is, the new blogs (created in the network) will get the url subdomain.mydomain.com/blog1 , subdomain.mydomain.com/blog2 or not ?
