   i have a blog on typepad now. I want to design a new website on wordpress.org with the theme 'ifeature', (using the same url which I have registered with godaddy) but not launch it yet. Can I do that?

   Hey,

   If you have access to the WP dashboard and that has control.
   You could always use an under construction plugin to hide you actual content.

   Another option is to set up your WordPress site in a wp folder. Once you work on it, you can just remove the typepad site and then point the wp to the root folder by following these steps - http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_install
