    Hello.

    I wonder if there is a plugin or easy way to hide or remove the permalink for a page. I´m trying to make a page with a different Title then the menu name. And I also don´t want the page to have a link at all since it will be a static page without any posts.

    I can have the permalink text field empty but then it will not be seen in the menu and it will be hard (if I want more then one page without permalink) to see wich page is wich.

    I´v tried to find an answer to this but I have not been able to find anything like my question since everyone asking about permalinks seems to want to have permalinks on all their pages...

    Thank you for any answer.

    This is theme stuff, not plugin stuff. You will need to change the page template, either page.php or a custom file in the theme.

    I want to hide the permalinks that show up on each page that link to other pages on my site. I gather I need to edit the page.php. I think I know where to go to do this Appearance>Editor>Page Template (page.php) I do not know how to edit code. I found a line that reads:

    <h2>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

    Is this the line that contains the code? If so, what should I remove / edit to make the hide the permalink?
