   i know the site admin is automatically generated when first published. is there a way to give permissions to a second site admin ?

   Dashboard > Users > Add New User > Role

   The drop down box in the "Roll" selection allows you to make a new user;

   Subscriber
   Administrator
   Editor
   Author
   Contributor

   You should be able to edit an existing users Role as well.

   Hi,

   You can create any number of user with administrator rights. But you can create two users with same name and assign admin rights.
