I know this will sound dumb, but I would like to have a normal rectangular photo as the header on the front pages of my site running Celestial Lite (one front page English, the other German). I don’t want the curved headers. I really like this theme, but don’t care for the curve.

Is there a way to designate two pages as static front pages, and instruct them both to get rid of the curved headers?

Or do I need to migrate to another theme?

Please be plain-talking in your responses — I’m new to all this.

  • Absolutely… when you are in your site’s dashboard of WordPress, go to:

Appearance >> Customize >> Header Image >> then check the box next to “Hide Front Page Showcase Curve” and then click Save
