OK I'm sorry, this will be my last question for now I promise.
In the future I'm going to avoid this by typng my blog entries in a word processor BEFORE posting them online. I just made the mistake of deleting my first blog entry. Is there any way to restore it? Many thanks for your advice.

As far as I know, the deleting posts also deletes them in the database. Thus there is no flag set, to mark posts not to show up again. I'm sorry.
To be sure finally, you have to look in your database. But I don't think, you'll find anything left there.
