[resolved] Can I get a small image to fit into a larger thumbnail? (2 posts)

My original image is 144 x 144. The dimensions for the large thumbnail in my template are 658 x 435. Instead of blowing the image up to a really huge dimension, I was hoping to just scale it to only 288 and then have a border fill out the rest of 658 x 435 pixels. Is the plugin supposed to be able do that? I was unable to scale the image up or generate a large thumbnail...with or without a border. I just get an image of an exclamation point for the large image. How can I generate the large thumbnail? Thanks.

Yes, the latest version of the plugin can do that. See the "Fit to thumbnail option" at http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/editor/#advanced-cropping-options. It's kind of hacky right now, so any feadback you can give would be helpful.

Also, sorry I didn't get to you sooner, wordpress stopped sending me emails...
