   Hi,

   Is it possible to create a WordPress blog on my computer, and keep the blog offline?

   I want to experiment with WordPress and see what it can do, and familiarize myself with using it before jumping ship (I currently use Blogger, which I am not entirely happy with, for various reasons).

   If so, how do I load up WordPress, experiment with themes etc on my Mac? I've downloaded the zip and unpacked it, but can't figure out where to go from there.
