I installed WP Security System Plugin on my blog this morning ... fast forwrd now my blog is offline and I can't access the sign in panel to even get in there to work on it. Fortunately I backed up before installing, and I've submitted a support tag to WP Security, but in the meantime I'm wondering ...
Can I can access my blog dashboard through cPanel? I've looked at cPanel but am not seeing any obvious way.
I've read some of the posts here and I did try activating twentyten as the default theme, but am still only getting a "error" message instead of the sign in screen.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
you can use the cpanel file manager to rename the WP Security folder inside the /plugins folder
that will deactivate it and let you log in

Thanks you, I found the plugin and changed the name but I still can't log in - still no sign-in screen, getting nothing but the error message. Here's the message, maybe this will make more sense -
ERROR: $table_prefix in wp-config.php can only contain numbers, letters, and underscores.
Thanks again,
looks like that security plugin added some thing in your wp-config.php file see if you can replace from backup

Thanks, just to clarify - are you recommending reinstalling everything from back-up?
No try and replace the wp-config.php file and see you can log in.

Thanks again ... I'm relieved to report I won't have to start changing code. Earlier I sent a support ticket to my site host and believe it or not they went in and fixed it for me! My blog's back online and I can sign in ... thanks again for your assistance. I learn something new every time something like this happens.
