Hi everyone,
When I use Firefox, all work good. But my customer always use IE7, and they cant not select text from Text-Widget, so they cant cut it. The only one way to delete text: use delete or backspace button.
If they want to paste some text/code from clipboard, they can right click in widget and choose "paste" from the menu. But when they want to cut & paste from the widget into widget... It's impossible.
How to fix WordPress to fully work with IE?
Can someone help me fix that problem?

There are a number of posts about this problem, dating way back. I'm surprised it has not been fixed for 2.6.
The only solution I have found is to use Firefox. That's what I use anyway, but I have contributors to the blog who need to edit the widgets and they can't use IE6 or IE7 to do it.
Anyone have a recent work-around?
I saw something about modifying the widget.php file in wp-admin, but that line of code doesn't seem to exist in the new version.

I have the same problem. I can't select/cut text in the Text Widget. There are a couple of lengthy topics about this but none have a resolution to the problem. I have had the problem in IE7 and IE8.
Can someone please point me to the solution?
