I am running two WordPress sites on a Network Solutions hosting account. They were installed last week, so they are running the current versions of WordPress.

The first, http://www.rauecenter.org, is working fine. Hurray!
The second, http://www.wsrep.org/ , is causing issues.

    1. I have instructed the rauecenter.org/wordpress address to act as the homepage for my rauecenter.org account.

    2. I have created the database at http://wsrep.org/WSwordpress.

    3. I have pointed the domain to http://www.wsrep.org/htdocs/WSwordpress, to counteract point #1.

    4. I have installed the 2010 Weaver theme.

    5. I have deleted all plugins that came with WordPress.

    6. I have created the main page at wsrep.org.

    7. Now, whenever I try to create a new page other than the main page, I receive a 500 Internal Server error:

    " Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. "

    8. You can see this, for instance, at http://wsrep.org/about-us-2/

    9. I get the same error if I try to go to:
    http://wsrep.org/WSwordpress
    http://wsrep.org/WSwordpress/wp-login.php

    10. Additionally, I see that every time I log in, the Hello World comment from Mr WordPress still exists, even after I've sent it to the trash and emptied the trash.

I am suspicious that this is related to the pointers in steps 1 & 2 above, but can't confirm that.

I have also searched the forums, and while I see a number of htaccess related issues, I'd be very grateful for a bit of hand-holding at this time. We're a small theatre company with limtied resources.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!
