    Hi,

I have just installed WP1.5 and all is up and running with no problems.

I would love to find a theme similar to that used by http://wordpress.org as it would allow for a more typical website layout to be built as opposed to a blog.

I like the way it has page links along the top which open up with sub links on the right for the page selected.

Am I able to get hold of this theme/template to alter for my own use or can anyone suggest a good alternative.

    Thanks very much!

This theme is out of bounds.

Others can be viewed at http://themes.wordpress.net/

    I thought as much :)

I have already found that link but thanks anyway!

Do you know of any other themes that offer similar functionality? I haven't come across one that is as suited as this one for website as opposed to blog purpose.

    Thanks :)

Yeah I saw these earlier - they look great but not quite what I am after :/

I am really keen on having horizontal links along the top which then open with vertical links on the right (or left I guess)

The best way to describe this is by looking at the top menu on this page then click on 'about' which then opens the right hand side nav with 'intro', 'requirements', 'features', etc...

I just can't find any others like this :(

Actually you have a couple of options to do that.
Activate the Default theme and take a look at the different views, like Categories, monthly archives etc. and you'll see the text in the sidebar is different. Now if you open the sidebar.php template in a text editor, you'll see a lot of if statements that determine what is displayed in every view.
The other option is in the case of Pages to use a different sidebar for every Page template.
