Can an editor write a post as a different author? (2 posts)

Is it possible for a non-admin to post as a different author? I'm working on a blog where multiple users ("managers") need to post on behalf of multiple people under them ("workers").

I have the workers set up as Authors and the managers set up as Editors, but the managers still cannot edit the post author when logged in with their credentials. (I don't want to set up all the managers as admins.)

I'm using this plugin: http://www.shinephp.com/user-role-editor-wordpress-plugin/ , but even checking every option box, I still can't give Editors the ability to switch authors on a post. Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to code something custom for this?

Figured it out-- the workers were still listed as Admins, and Editors cannot assign posts to Admins. When the workers were changed to Authors, then they could be added.
