   I would like to add a link to a media file (pdf doc) from an excerpt.

   Can this be done?

   Make sure you complete the Optional Excerpt field in Edit Post.

   I have entered an excerpt. It changes to the link to plain text. I'm not trying to link to the orginial post, but a separate pdf doc in the media library or a url.
