Spots
Calling "icit_spot" creates spots that I don't want. (3 posts)

Spots seems really cool. But this problem is absolutely maddening, and can't be fixed without directly editing the database.

The call "icit_spot" will sometimes create new spots all by itself, even when a spot with that slug name already exists.

icit_spot("my-spot") will sometimes create a new spot, when "my-spot" already exists. It will create "my-spot-2", and prompt you to edit it.

Even more frustrating, the function will sometimes fail to call an existing spot when the spot's slug is passed to it.

yes, I have that too. If you call a spot that doesn't exist, it creates a draft

I put this in to make it easier to start adding content and to try and make sure you only get one spot for any places in your theme you want one. Basically trying to idiot proof it for clients so they don't have to create the spots to match the theme...

Just to confirm is the problem you're having with version 1.0.5?
