[resolved] Calling a plugin function in the sidebar? (3 posts)

I've got a plugin which doesn't have the appropriate widget to display one of the functions in the plugin...

How do I activate the functions in the plugin so that I can place them in my sidebar directly?

Is it via apply_filters? How would I accomplish this?

    Thanks,

    -William

That depends on the plugin. Sometimes I've just called a specific plugin function directly in sidebar.php.

The plugin is actually WordPress Directory Pro, which creates a directory on a selected page, see here: http://feedmelah.insidethebox.com.my/restaurants/

The drop down list works fine here.

But when I take the same code and put it in the sidebar, none of the functions activate, giving a blank drop-down list, see here:

Any suggestions to activate the functions that i've placed in my sidebar?

    Cheers.
