Calling a plugin function in the sidebar?

    I’ve got a plugin which doesn’t have the appropriate widget to display one of the functions in the plugin…

    How do I activate the functions in the plugin so that I can place them in my sidebar directly?

    Is it via apply_filters? How would I accomplish this?
