I'm updating two blogs to wp2.5, and the first one went fine. The second however returns the following error message:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: suppress_errors() in /home/elohi2/public_html/journal/wp-includes/functions.php on line 962
I have no idea what the difference could be. Can anyone out there help me.
You failed to upload ALL the WordPress files. In this case, wp-db.php for sure, probably others as well.
Delete wp-includes and wp-admin off the site and re-upload them from fresh copies of 2.5.

Otto, you were correct. For some reason all of the files did not upload. I also had to go directly to upgrade.php to upgrade my database. Weird.
