• when I am running the installation file, it is showing me the following error ‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function did_action() in /home/maheshl/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1345’.

    Can someone help me please?

  • Were you upgrading? I can only find one call to did_action() in that file, and not only is it 1000 lines away (and was back in 2.8, I checked that far), but it was also wrapped in a function_exists() check *specifically* to prevent this error.

    If you could:

    1. Inform us what version you were upgrading from, if that is indeed the case.

    2. Reveal the contents of lines 1340-1350 of that file (I’m curious)

    and then 3. try a manual upgrade (or fresh install), replacing the core files with those found in a zip downloaded from wordpress.org.
