Call out, or known as sidebar in print media

Is there a way to do the following?
Create a vertical callout specific to one, or selected posts and/or pages? The blockquotes option is useful, but it would be nice to create a variable size vertical version without the “.
Or as this therm has up to two right hand side vertical sidebars, have an option for either to work as a callout?
If there are plugins that do this, please let me know. Thanks a lot.
