Call latest post from one category and list from category except latest post!

Hey beautiful people!

On two pages I want to display specific content from a single category.

On one page I want to show the latest post from one category.
On the other page I want to show an archive of that category, minus the latest post.

It’s to display magazines.

The first page wants to display the latest issue post; the second page wants to show a magazine archive of all the magazine posts before that.

Happy with redirecting the page to the post content, I just don’t know what php to use to call up the specific content in this way.
