    Calendar (Upcoming Events) widget is not showing up in Internet explorer (IE 9) using the Buddypress Corporate Theme Version 1.4.4 and I think its a CSS issue, all that can be seen is a blank box. Just upgraded today to 1.9.1 Standard within a WordPress 3.5 install. it displays on Google Chrome and Opera browser perfectly though. reference Case #: 7643.

    Hi MI C,

    Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I am using 1.9.1 on Internet Explorer 9 and cannot replicate your issue. Please can you submit a ticket to help@time.ly and provide a link to your site. Please also try to rule out a WP theme conflict by following the steps here: http://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/782129-do-i-have-a-theme-or-plugin-conflict-

    Thank you

    Looking at all the variables involved in creating and displaying a web page (operating system and version thereof) browser (and versions thereof), WordPress (and versions thereof) and the theme, it is obvious that the combinations is virtually infinite.

    I can't speak about anything other than what I run (Firefox (v 17.0), Google Chrome (v 24), MSIE (v 9.0), WP (v3.5.1) and ai1ec (v 1.9.2 Pro), I can say that FOR ME, ai1ec works as advertised.

    However, I did had an issue wherein the display mode and categories buttons did not work. I called my theme provider and they wrote two code segments that, after I placed them in my theme style.css file, caused the calendar to work perfectly.

    The point of this is that, at least in my situation, ai1ec works perfectly. This leads me to believe that conflicts are probably caused by the underlying code of you theme and the ai1ec plugin. Who you choose to blame is up to you.

    @davejampole, this is helpful information. Are you able to post here the name of your theme and the code you inserted? It may be of benefit to other users who are experiencing the same issue with the same theme.

    Richard,

    Artisteer doesn't name their themes, but I would think that this code would work in most any theme:

    `li.ai1ec-views-dropdown
    {
    overflow: visible!important;
    background-image: none!important;
    }

    li.ai1ec-category-filter
    {
    overflow: visible!important;
    background-image: none!important;
    }
    '

    Hopes this helps someone.

    Thanks, but no thanks. The BuddyPress Corporate theme is a free download from wpmudev. If anyone wants to replicate the initial issue I raised.

    I have now upgraded the calendar to the version 1.9.2... Still no joy!! The widget contents displays outside the widget container to the farther (on top of the next column)right in both IE 8 and IE 9, and does not show up since the overflow element is set to hidden and even the styling is messed up.
