    Hi Guys and Gals,

I wonder if someone can help me out with this little problem.

I would like to have a shared calendar for my website, but i want everybody to see the calendar and its events but i only want a select few members to be able to edit and create events etc. I don't mind paying for the plug in if there is not a free one out there.

Other than using Google Calendar is there any WordPress plugins that will achieve this.

    Thanks

    Kevin

    Hi,

Thanks for your kind reply, i have been looking at several plugins but none seem to have a separate user restriction policy, they all relies on word press user profiles. (subscriber, editor, etc)

Do you know of one, or one you have experience with that will do what i need.

    Thanks

    Kevin

Check Calendarize it for WordPress. Read the features.

    Hi Again,

Thanks Media X, only problem is that the security is based on WordPress user roles. I want a program that uses its own.

For example Capa is a program that allows you to select what users can see what pages on the website, something similar would be great if its out there.

    Thanks

    Kevin

You can create new user roles with WP Sentry plugin and specify which users or groups have access to the post. You can fine tune the privileges with a plugin like Capability Manager.
