I am using blix theme on WP 1.5.1. Recently i am facing a weird problem . when i click on a bold date on my calendar the following error message is shown:

    "Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /2005/09/21/ on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. "

Is this a permalink related issue? after this i set my htaccess file chmod setting to 666 but that did not help. is this due to some plugins...i am using search reloaded, google sitemap, morelink, subscribe2 & wb database backup plugins.

please help. my site is http://www.niponwave.com

  2. First off, you should upgrade to the latest version of WordPress. It's not hard and you have open security holes right now.

2nd, yes, it appears to be a permalink issue.

Note that http://niponwave.com/2005/09/24/smps-down/ works while http://niponwave.com/2005/09/24/ does not (it should show all posts from that day).

Try regenerating your permlinks by visiting your permalink page.

my problem has been solved at last. Phew!
As i upgraded to WP 2 and selected 'Date and name based' in permalinks and updated permalinks the problem has gone. Thank god!
