Calendar not showing up

I removed the header and footer as my aim is to incorporate the wp posts into my own site design which I have done. See http://www.fireworkszone.com

But as I removed the sidebar I tried to incorporate the calendar code inside my left page :

• <h2><?php _e(‘Calendar’); ?></h2>

• <?php get_calendar(); ?>

But it doesn’t work. Furthermore how can I get all the items located on the sidebar: search, archives, etc.
