Calendar?

I’m looking for a plugin that would be an event calendar.
The solution offered by Kitten isn’t quite what I’m looking for…
What I need is something that would have the date and a list of events on that day in a table, a bit like the post calendar but not.
If it doesn’t exist and someone is willing to give me advice/help on how to proceed, I’ll make the plugin myself and then release it 🙂
