BWPUP 3.1.1 not working w WP 3.8.1

    In fact BackWPup hasn’t worked for a couple of months…only have two other plugins.
    WPeCommerce 3.8.12.1
    WPSuperCache 1.4

    PHP V.5.3

    Any thoughts are much appreciated. Below is the latest backup log — it stumbles when “trying to create backup archive”.

    Try to set the setting for max. execution time. It is in BackWPup | Settings | Tab: Jobs. Begin with a value of 30 seconds.

    Thanks for the suggestion, Daniel – but I’m still getting the following message:

    WARNING: Job finished with warnings in 2342 seconds. Please resolve them for correct execution.

    It still created a backup though, right?

    I tried increasing the max execution time and received this error:
    ERROR: Could not generate a WordPress export file.

    @flockofteacosy: than there is another warning in the log.

    @klaconcepts: can you try the RC Versio from https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup

    Yes,the log indicates it works fine until just after this message:

    [17-Feb-2014 10:58:44] Restart after 43 seconds.

    Then there are 46 restarts and then:

    I know this may be due to multiple little settings needing tweaking which may be beyond the scope of this forum, but if you can suggest a number of things I’ll give them all a try 😉

    Last night suddenly something change while I was busy with my blog. After publication of a log the page changed and I could not fix it. All my articles disappeared and I did not know what to do I could only restore my database, but no publiced articles could be seen. Now I think that I have uploaded an empty file to FTP so that I cannot make a connection to the server.

    I had downloaded and used Ready Backup when the problem started so I downloaded DBBackup 3.1.1.But is it right that it doesn’t work with wordpress 3.8.1 as stated above.

    Please help urgent

    @daniel Huesken I installed the rc version still receiving errors.
    ERROR: WP Export file could not be written.
    [21-Feb-2014 04:24:54] ERROR: Could not generate a WordPress export file.

    I disable all other plugins, but still no luck. Anything else to try?

    @klaconcepts: i ahev added somsing to prevending false messages. Also it can be a Problem of disk quota.
