   When I upgraded to 2.8.6 I noticed that a lot of the buttons in the editor are gone. I thought maybe I had not uploaded all the files so I did it again and still nothing. Here is a link to a screen shot of what I'm seeing http://www.mikelovesbeer.com/missingbuttons.jpg

   Any help is appreciated.

   Deactivate all your plugins and see if the buttons come back. You're seeing a classic example of javascript conflict.

   If I deactivate them I will not lose settings on them right? As long as they aren't deleted?
