• Hi everyone,

I decided to use wordpress instead of hacking my own code for my webpage just for easier updateing…so I am completely new to wordpress.

After testing several slideshow/photo album-plugins for wordpress I found the plugin WP Photo Album Plus.
I guess it might fit my ideas of the way I want to present my images, but I don’t know how to…
…and I guess I have just misconfigured the plugin and cannot find the way back 🙁

So, this is what I want to have:
    – Rearrange the several information-fields in the order I want (…done)
    – Link my album to a post starting the slide-show (…done)
    – Show the Thumbnail-View-Button like in the tutorials in the slideshow (misconfigured – I cannot find the button in the settings so I added a “Photo-Index” at the end of the post)
    – Zoom-In when you click on a slideshow-image (nothing happens when clicking on the slideshow-images)
    – Fullsize-Image when clicking on a album-image (at the moment the slideshow starts when clicking on an image instead of displaying fullscreen)
    – The background-color of the mouse-over on thumbnails stays white (this looks ugly for me because of the dark theme, but I cannot find the correct bg-color-setting)
    – The color of the navigation-arrows is black. I do not find the setting for changing this color…so at the moment I have black arrows on a black background.
    – I want to fix the hide of the displayed images in slideshow (the “stretch” image only seems to work in width…so the text under the images jumps around while the slideshow keeps changing the image-height)

Perhaps many of my questions are easily to configure, but I after hours of reading tutorials and faqs I just don’t how to.

Here’s my link to the article

Many many thanks for your understanding an help.

Photo Albums -> Settings admin page Table II-A9.

    – Zoom-In when you click on a slideshow-image (nothing happens when clicking on the slideshow-images)

    Table VI-B5a set to lightbox

    – Fullsize-Image when clicking on a album-image (at the moment the slideshow starts when clicking on an image instead of displaying fullscreen)

I do not understand what you mean

    Table III-B3.2

    Set Table IV-B1 to center

    Wow,
you helped me a lot! Thank you very much. Meanwhile I even found one article of anouther user for the magnifier-class (I just searched for Zoom and Zoom-In).

You have developed a really powerful plugin!

    – Fullsize-Image when clicking on a album-image (at the moment the slideshow starts when clicking on an image instead of displaying fullscreen)

I do not understand what you mean

    >> The initial idea was, that – if I click on a photo in the thumbnail-listing, that I also get the fullsize-image (as the magnifier in slideshow does).
-> At the moment I start in the post with the slide.
–> There I can click onto the slideshow image to get the fullsize-image
–> There I can click at the “Thumbnail View” to get the list of Thumbnails
—> In the list of Thumbnails, when I click onto a thumbnail, I get back to the slideshow-view and then I can enlarge the image to fullsize.

What I want is somthing like that:
    – In the slideshow-view I have a thumbnail-view-Button
    – In the Thumbail-View I have a slideshow-Button
    — In both views I can click onto the image to get an fullsize-image

    Thank you very much.

    Kind regards
    Patrick

    – In the slideshow-view I have a thumbnail-view-Button

    We have: Table II-A9.

    – In the Thumbail-View I have a slideshow-Button

We do not have (yet). Will be considered.

    — In both views I can click onto the image to get an fullsize-image

Set Table VI-B2 and VI-B5 to lightbox
