Business Directory …. plugin ?

    Hello. My first post.

    I am just learning WordPress and would like to create a “chamber of commerce” website. I see that they basically all have a nice “Search Businesses” page. I have a link to one that is very nice as an example.

    Now…. my question is….. is that business directory code possibly a WordPress “plugin”? Or was it probably “hand coded? I am comfortable with html/css/php/mysql, and I could write my own code and set up my own database, etc, but do not really want to spend the time if it is some type of plugin.
    Could someone please steer me in a direction as I am new to WordPress? Thank you very much. Buffmin2.
