   I need some help - I have a great blog getting some traffic, but I know it can be doing better and maybe I am doing some things wrong.

   After I make my blog post - I add it to my Zimbio, Digg, Mixx, Technorati, Facebook, Stumble and sometimes Yahoo Bizz - does this hurt me and my traffic?

   Also each Blog Post web address is kinda weird like: http://www.thepartyanimal.org/ChildrensBirthdayParties/?p=1529 is that a normal looking address?

   On older posts if I enter that in a Google Search I do not see it, but I can find my Blog promotions like Zimbio, Digg Etc....

   This is all new to me and I want to make sure I am doing the right things to make sue I get a maximum amount of traffic - any help would be great.

   I dont think adding to zimbo, digg, etc. will heart your traffic.

   Your adress its weird. You can change it with Permalinks. In your admin panel, in options go to Permalinks. More information here http://codex.wordpress.org/es:Using_Permalinks

   And dont forget to use tags when posting an entry. Thats about the basic stuff.

   What is the best permalink method to use? Custom?
   Also if I make the change will it change all the past posts and would it have any effect on my rankings or links already out there that have been linked to the old way etc..?

   Your old links will be automatically redirected to the pretty permalinks.
