Bulk update post tags

    When I select a group of posts to bulk add a tag it gives me the message

    “Either there are no posts to edit or you don’t have enough privileges to do that”

    Whether I select one post or 15 the same message appears. If I am administrator how do I get more privileges to bulk update my posts?
