I am helping a friend move from his current webhost-editor-created website to a WordPress installation.
Till now he has been emailing pdf versions of a newsletter to paid subscribers. While moving to publishing this newsletter to password restricted posts (I'm using the Capa plugin for this), he'd like to make the old newsletters searchable -- for which I suggested migrating them all to the new website. He has MS Word versions of all these newsletters. I've tried the manual 'Paste from Word' button and it works pretty well -- but I was looking for a way to bulk process these files. In all there are some 150+ documents, so I was wondering if there was an API call that one could write to access this 'Paste from Word' functionality -- or if there was a plain better way of importing these files in.
