• Hi, I’m trying to import a couple hundred posts’ images (usually just 1-3 images a post, with a few that have 5 or 6) and when I click on the “Import Images Now” button the list just disappears. It doesn’t appear to import any of the images in the process, even after leaving it for some time. Any idea what may be the issue here? No error or anything spit out by WP or my browser.

Any assistance would be fantastic, importing all of the images by hand is a grueling task that I do not wish to do. Thank you much!

So after turning off pretty much every plugin (and testing it on another site with it working perfectly fine), I tried upping the PHP memory and time out time in the php.ini file. That seemed to do the trick! Probably because I have over 500 posts. I recommend this trick if anyone experiences an issue similar to this one.

This plugin is awesome! It was exactly what I needed and am VERY happy it started working. Yay!

Glad to hear you got it working!

Yes, memory could be a killer, especially with large images. That is usually the issue.

I would recommend running my other plugin “Bulk Resize Media” on the remote site ( if it is a WP site ) if at all possible. That will scale down the images, then the import should go smooth.
