   I want to try to convert http://www.coffeetherapy.net to WordPress -- without downtime.

   If I install the new site in a subfolder, how hard will it be to move it to the root directory after I'm finished (As you can see, my skills are limited at this point.)

   Really simple:

   Just follow the instructions as if you had moved the blog.
