I'm building my first WordPress site. I'm new to WordPress and PHP but I've been developing websites for a few years.
I'm building a new WordPress site and already have a theme picked out.
In my theme, I have a featured blog page where partial blog entries are stacked on top of each other. Each time someone posts a new blog to the featured page, it updates with that most recent blog showing up as the top blog.
i have another pagethat is styled just like the featured blog page, but it is actually a list of the people who write the blogs.
I want the profile at the top to be the person who most recently blogged. Then, if someone else blogs later, their new blog shows up as the top blog on the featured page and their profile becomes the top profile on the profile page.
This is a link that shows my blog page's layout. http://www.elegantthemes.com/demo/?theme=SimplePress

I want my profile page laid out the same way, but to show the user's profile info instead of their blog.
    Thanks in advance.
