   hi,

   for several months now someone/something has been dropping the posts table irregularly on my blog. I've been unable to find anything that is doing it and its becoming increasingly frustrating.

   Does anyone have ANY suggestions on where i should be looking to stop this from happening

   MySQL logs?

   Have you changed your db password?

   yes,

   have changed database passwords and all the admin ones

   as a random thought. is it possible to execute code through a user submitted comment?

   under certain circumstances, yes it is .. and it doesnt help when you chose to run a version of the software thats not current.

   we're running WP 2.2.1

   the bit below is an extract of our mysql logs when it goes down.

   we're running WP 2.2.1

   ...the latest stable release of WordPress (Version 2.2.2)

   didnt work whoami. still happening after the 2.2.2 install
