Bug with recurring events

    Hi there,

    i’ve got a problem with Event Organiser 2.2.2 > when i try to add an event with recurring dates, this doesn’t work. For example: For the start and end date i use the 2nd of september (monday), when i click on weekly recurrence and define the 9th of september as the end of the recurrence series, the event should happen two times – on the 2nd and the 9th. When i click on publish, the end of the recurrence series is set to the 15th of september, which is a sunday – and oddly it only displays in the event list on the 15th. When i try with different end dates of the recurrence series it’s always a sunday after publishing. I cannot change this, in a way that it works. Could you please look into this? I cannot find a way to get this working.. 🙁

    Hi Martin,

    Just checked this out on a test install – I can’t reproduce this bug. Would you mind going to .../wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&page=debug and downloading the debugging file, and emailing it to my email address which you can find in event-organiser/event-organiser.php.

    I’ll take a look to see if anything jumps out as a possible cause, and test it again, but otherwise my only suggestion is to deactivate other plug-ins and switch to TwentyTwelve to determine if there’s a plug-in conflict.

    To clarify – did those range of dates include other days than Monday, a weekly recurrence on Tuesday perhaps? Also, is it always the Sunday after publishing or after the event has finished. What if you publish an event now which happened 6 months ago, or will happen in 6 months time. (Just trying to determine the significance of Sunday!)

    thanks for answering.. i already sent you a mail with the debug info.
    Maybe it really has something to do with this specific wp installation, because i tried it on another website where i used this plugin – there it doesnt happen….

    Here is the specific behavior:
    i also tried to use other weekdays than monday, but it is always a sunday when i click on publish. Even when i try to modify events and use a new end date for the recurrence series it will change back to a sunday after updating the event. To clarify: when i would have 3 occurrences on let’s say wednesday, it’s changed in a way that the event only happens once – on the sunday before the end date of the series (which is also the new end date after updating the event).
